Progress Report
Soo.... I've gotten a lot done lately. The chapters that my beta readers are reading, they are loving. With the rate I've been revising things, I'm pretty sure I can have it to an editor soon.
So there is that.
I have also been working on my blurb. You would think it would be pretty easy- just describe your novel in a paragraph or two. Its so not. Its so much harder than I ever imagined it would me. But I have a couple of drafts- two totally different ones. The catch to this is, that the beta's are on completely opposite sides when it comes to which one they think fits better. Right now, I'm going to just think about it for a little while and see which one I like best. Or maybe I'll even take a third stab at it.
Anyways, that's what has been going on for the past few days.

Its getting reals
So, until receantly I was pretty sure I would be able to stay calm until release day. I was wrong. I'm freaking out a little, things are getting super real super fast.
I have a final cover design, thanks to my amazing cover designer- Rosmary Goudyrev- who must be a witch because she pretty much saw exactly what was in my mind.
I'm looking for editors right now. I'm hoping for a July release, which means I need to get it to an editor soon. While that seems like a while away, I'm going to need time to do revisions and make changes before its published.
My beta readers are amazing and give me excellent feedback. Esther M. Soto- is beta reading while she's getting her name prepared for publishing in June. Heather Snodgrass- is keeping me on track, making sure I don't go off on one of my many tangents and basically making sure I continue to make sense. Rosmary Goudyrev- in addition to writing her own novel and designing my cover she is also beta reading. They are amazing and I'm lucky.
Today is Presidents day and I'm kid and husband free. Therefore the day will be spent writing, writing, writing.
